    KTG Agrar AG engages in the production of agricultural products in Germany & Lithuania. It offers various organic food crops, including corn maize, wheat, rye, spelt, oats, triticale, lupines, and potatoes; and is involved in the conventional farming of food crops comprising corn maize, wheat, rye, barley, and rape. The company markets its products to traders and processors, such as mills and animal feed producers under the BioFarmers brand name. As of November 30, 2011, it had approximately 35,000 hectares of cultivable land. The company also engages in the production of electricity, heat, and bio-natural gas from biogas. It operates biogas plants with a total capacity of approximately 20 megawatts. In addition, the company is involved in the provision of consultancy services; the acquisition and development of farm operations; agricultural trading and farm management for third parties; the purchase and sale of agricultural machines and equipment; and cultivation and marketing of berry crops for people to pick themselves. KTG Agrar AG was founded in 1994 and is headquartered in Hamburg, Germany.
