The swine flu concentrator is done this way... the header contains summary information and is updated with new information as it is published in the comments area... It also contains links to the past swine flu concentrators.

The problem was I don't think people read the summary header when a new concentrator was put up. They just attended to the comments.

There is also an organization issue of the header... In order for people to find the info, it needs to be organized by subject areas. Old information needs to be pruned and so on...

The swine flu concentrator is a low visitation site... Trying to keep the header info current and organized could be a significant time sink for something as good as the APC... As a result, it might require more than one person to maintain it.

On the Euro concentrator, I also update the header from time to time, but again, I don't think anyone bothers to check it. In the Euro concentrator, I only include a link to the last concentrator in the first comment field of the new concentrator. No one has said anything, so I assume very few people bother to go back.

In summary, I think you need to have an organizational outline for the materials, and a back link library. I also think you need to tell people at the top of the new comments area that something has been added... that could mean you might want to identify new additions, and that means at some point in time, the new additions would need to be put into their correct spot in the information outline after they are no longer new.

I also think it might be useful to have the commentators provide feedback on whether a piece of information should be included in the summary header...

Lots and lots of issues here... I will be happy to help organize, but back in the day when I was the desk clerk for the QCs, some of the original renegades were not interested in summary information or having a 'memory alpha' available as research tools. I would hate to see a lot of effort made for something that no one uses.

That's why the header must be very simple, very general, and easy to maintain.

The highly technical issues should not be included, only links provided.

Hell, I still do not understand all the reasons why the PbC works like it does.

There are lots of issues, and I'm not completely convinced this is a good idea, or just more work that will be largely moved right by and ignored.

The goal is to let new investors know there are easier ways to learn about Axion Power, than reading through 10,000 comments.

Google Sites are free but put me in a site development straight jacket. I had a major hassle last night posting links from past concentrators. I know how to code HTML, but Google Sites is an HTML generator which means it wants to do the coding for you. When I finish posting all the links from past concentrators I intend to do a "What you need to know about Axion" section that lists all the most important data I know of from the past two years.

It will be intended to be a quick and dirty Due Diligence guide pointing out key JP articles and other overview pieces, where to get the numbers like 10Q's and conference call transcripts, etc.

I may graduate the site to a .info site and pay for the hosting elsewhere just to get out of Google Sites. It wouldn't be terribly expensive and it would save me a lot of time.

What you're doing is going to save so many others a great deal of time. I very much appreciate your effort.

What you're doing is also having a contagious effect, as others now are figuring ways to contribute beyond commenting.

I'm going to keep running your Google link in the header for a little while, unless some major news comes along that takes precedence.

Every passing Friday we're one week closer to gleaning what those other TG in-hand (yeehaw!) purchase orders are all about.
