    This past month has proved to be an exciting one for Seeking Alpha and our authors. We saw the launch of our new Premium Partner Program and the implementation of many longtime author requests including providing detailed pageview stats and redoing our leaderboards to showcase the expertise of our talented authors (see here for more information). But the month proved to be a bittersweet one for me personally as I also learned that my mother had been diagnosed with cancer. After much thought, my family and I made the difficult decision to relocate back to the United States so that we could be closer to her during this difficult time. It is important to us to provide her with the opportunity to bond with our children and create some memories together. Unfortunately, this will also mean leaving Seeking Alpha and looking for something new in New York.
     
    Throughout my almost three years at Seeking Alpha I've fully believed in our mission to provide the best possible platform for our authors and I feel privileged to have played a role in accomplishing just that.  During my tenure I've had the distinct pleasure of working closely with all of you and consider myself fortunate to call many of you friends. I've very much enjoyed my role as your liaison and advocate, and for that I thank you.

    For the time being, I'll be staying on in an advisory capacity as the company transitions to life without me.  During this time, you should know that you are being left in very capable hands. Our growing editorial and contributor relations teams will continue to assist you in all your needs and find ways to bring you more exposure and value.     Take good care Boaz. I appreciate all that you've done to build the product. But as a friend of mine always put it, business is business, friends are friends but family is family. You will never regret being there for your mother and family.

    Good luck to you Boaz with your future endeavors! Have you talked to Perry Blacher over at Covestor about any opportunities they might have in New York? Perry is a really great guy and Covestor has offices in both New York and London.

    In any case, you have your priorities right and family comes ahead of all else. Wishing you and yours the best today and in the future.

    This happened to me before, so I know where you are. In times of these, most people resort to tears and sadness. It can only make matters worse for everyone involved. Negative energy could get everyone's blood frozen and cause problems. So please share with your mom that worrying is of no use at all. If she can grab 24 more hours from God, that in itself would be a miracle worth celebrating every day by the entire family! Through prayers, I just transmitted a dose of powerful Chi and positive healing energy to your mom and family. God bless!
