SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- I have been in the Technology and Real Estate business for years, and I have previously engaged the Real Estate and credit crisis storm of 2009. I am sure that the investment market opportunity today provides lucrative opportunities that existed years & decades ago; this time regulation comes into play.

For all investors, it is easy to tell that the market has increased on a line-graph, but I know that a walk in a local San Francisco tech neighborhood will show that the economy is actually thriving, developing, and growing in the most recent 2013 boom.

As a society, it is important to take a look around and note the shops that are selling, waiting lines out the door, airplanes that are full, and that everyone seems to have a smartphone. Technology today is around us; and more importantly, the word "recession" is not being discussed on the train.

    Disclosure: I am long AMD.

Additional disclosure: Current Holdings: UAL, RGEN, GARS, ZNGA, ABRPrevious Holdings: LVS, JBLU, NTEK, MJNA

    Stocks: AMD

Curious that the Hi tech in certain areas has recovered. I live in So Cal between Riverside and Palm Springs where we still have had no recovery. I travel an hour each way to work for a job that pays like 1985 (all I could find) most folks in my area are in the same position. So it seems the recovery is situational and dependent on local.
