  • McCormick and Co. (MKC) Coppock Curve 0 comments

    This is a follow-up to my article about the 10 best dividend stocks to consider at this time. I will follow up with Coppock Curves for each of the stocks listed in the October 9th article.

    In the chart below, we see the Coppock Curve for the spice maker McCormick and Co. (MKC). MKC displays a couple of instances where the stock gives a false indication after falling below the zero (0) line. To account for the fake outs, I used a 19-month moving average. It should be noted that so far, a healthy support line has buttressed the movement of the curve as indicated by the blue line.


    As with any indicator, the fewer buy signals the better. In this case, as compared to the XOM Coppock curve, there were four buy signals from 1994 to the present. As long as the blue support line stays intact this stock should remain a healthy prospective investment candidate.
