Aeropostale is down over 80% from it's all time high $32 in 2010. Now it's in the $5-$6 range. What is going on with ARO? Is it over for ARO? Is it going to turnaround and reward those who is greedy while others are fearful, or is it just a fire ball that will burn those hands who dare to play with it? To answer the questions, we have to dig deeper behind the story, understanding what had happened in the last 3-4 years and what is happening. I am doing analysis to search for signs if the adverse influence from the past has materialized further or reversed. I am also looking for the cost reduction, strategy shifts from the managements. Any of those signs will backup my judgments and initiate more long positions. As a long term investor, I tend to hold the shares at least 2 years maybe even longer.
Disclosure: I am long ARO.
