I do enjoy reading the SeekingAlpha commentary on how divided the USA truly is and how little people know about renewable energy and our dinosaur grid coal powered grid system.

Solar folks will tell you that solar is the answer........the wind folks like myself will cite return on investment vs solar........the nuclear folks have not a clue of what it takes to build a new nuclear unit in the USA vs building one in China.

Then, we bring in the ""I now found Nat Gas Religeon T Boone Pickens ''' folks touting natural gas for the security side of the clean energy debate.........one always has 70% of the power now produced powered by dirty polluting coal but the coal guys have the best paid lobbyist group (other than drug companies in health care) to try and convince you into clean coal which we have none but we sure do watch a billion dollars of commercials to tell you we have clean coal.

The Oil lobby and Saudi Arabia weigh in on keeping you addicted to your gasoline powered dirty polluting cars and SUVS by keeping the price of gasoline to your liking and your pocket book.   Until you read Thomas Freidman about ""Doubling the price of Gasoline''', one has no clue why we in America pay $2.50 per gallon of gasoline and yet France pays $8.90 per gallon of gasoline.   Why the difference???   Check the France mass transit angles and check the Eurorail in Europe and why they travel by train but yet we Americans always load up the SUV and just drive......by ourself..........and continue to pollute.

Bring in the POLITICS of Republicans with free trade and dirty polluting drill baby driill and then add the Obamamaniacs for CHANGE and green energy and throw Fox News into the mixture trying to tell you that all wind power freaks like me are left wing wingnuts and add a dose of Palin for Drill Baby Drill and what do you have but a quagmire of stuck ideas and no solutions to our non existent energy policy we still dont have.

President Obama campaigned on ''CHANGE''' and Copenhagen proved to the world we would rather talk and watch our glaciers melt down rather than do anything that upsets the apple carts of the USA.   We in the USA must become the leaders in green energy by creating jobs that create green energy.  Otherwise, China is going to clean our clocks and one only needs to look at the strong growing China green energy solar and wind companies to see the future in 10 years and if we dont get moving as the United States of America and """Lead by Example''', China and other up and coming countries are going to pass us by again.

Coal, natural gas, nuclear, solar, Wind, Geothermal, Biomass...........how do we continue to grow our country and provide """JOBS""" if we continue to rely on dirty oil and dirty coal without change ???  Looking forward to your comments and solutions!
