    R & R finally picked up coverage today on ZIOP. $8 price target (within 12 months). The CEO (Dr. Lewis) is in UAE next week @ a medical meeting. Hopefully this will put a bit of wind in the sails.

    Still hopeful for some price improvement. When you back out the 48MM in cash, the market is valuing the company @ $85MM or so. A very modest valuation.

    Hopefully ZIOP will get some additional coverage and/or upgrades. Keep your eye on the Feb 15th filings. If "known" MF names are in, it is a good sign.

    I am still waiting for any sign of progress on the business front. I assume the strengthened balance sheet puts them in a better negotiating position.

  • Well, I guess we will soon see if the speculation concerning a CLDA funds move to ZIOP is correct. Deal is scheduled to close early April.
