    I beat the rats out some time back. Not saying I don't hold some. Mainly PHYS in my Roth & IRA's.

    But otherwise its ALL hard assets.

    The problem I have with ROTH IRA's is I just can't believe that the distributions will be tax free.

    I have a feeling that in the near future, anyone with any savings at all will be labeled "the rich", and will be taxed to equalize the wealth sharing.

    No argument from me. I have already cashed some in and paid the penalty which I have done well for the price of Physical Gold & Silver has been rising.

    Good lord this IS the radical room. I need to teach my son how to shoot flaming arrows off of hoods chasing down the last of the petrol (aka The Road Warrier) while he wears a mohawk. What good will holding gold be when you will get killed for it. Heck I will just bury it and hope to find it again as my land becomes flooded with the rising sea levels and my skies are lit up with hollow worthless F-22 Raptor's getting toasted by far superior alien space craft.
    Yes BAC sucks but this whole "crash" thing was caused by everybody in big fat circle jerk. Everyone I know in foreclosure HAD IT COMING TO THEM!!! Flashy cars/ huge boats/crap from China they possessed in abundance, yet it WASN'T their's was it??? A debt fueled boom that this old boring kid from Georgia watched from afar. I have a credit card for convenience only. Once had a car payment but that is long gone. Might use a few $$ in my savings account to pick up a fun driving used/thrifty BMW 3 series though since I have always wanted one. House is in year 4 of a 15 year note. 4 years ago we put 60% down so...... REMEMBER there are a crap load of us out there. If the dollar gaps down my portfolio should do great.
