We just launched a redesign of Market Currents, our real-time micro-blog that covers market news and analysis.

The key change is new navigation. There are now three tabs:

Latest 20 - is the default view, and shows the latest Market Currents at the top, so you can leave this tab open and track developments in real time without scrolling down.

Today so far - is the best way to comfortably read about today's developments. It's in chronological order, top to bottom, allowing you to read in order as you go down the page. Many people find that Market Currents is the best way to get a comprehensive but time-efficient view of the day's news - and this view caters to them.

Yesterday - useful for people who want to catch up on yesterday's news, and also traders who want to review events after yesterday's close before the new trading day starts. Like Today so far, it's arranged in chronological order going down the page to make it easy to read.

One additional feature of Market Currents is the search function.  You can search Market Currents to see our news feed on any topic.  A search for “oil spill” returns a minute-by-minute replay of the BP oil spill news coverage, from sources across the web. A similar search, for “dividends” shows all of the significant news articles on dividends in recent weeks.

I hope you'll find that the changes to Market Currents are helpful.

Our marketing director, Fara, is collecting data from regular readers of Market Currents to help us assess and improve the product.  If you would like to provide feedback on Market Currents and be involved in the ongoing development of that product, please direct message her
