It was nice to hear that the notorious terrorist, Osama Bin Laden, was finally taken out by the valiant actions of America's armed forces. It was bound to happen eventually. The scum of the earth always eventually reap a harvest commensurate with their actions. The man lived by the sword and died by it, as the old saying goes.
More interesting, however, are revelations from a Pakistani grocer that are published today in a fascinating article published at Bloomberg News. It is amazing to learn that those who hate America, love the things that it has to offer. According to the article, Osama Bin Laden and his terrorist pals bought huge quantities of Coke and Pepsi, the two "made-in-America" rivals that have swept the entire world. Coke & Pepi are two soft drinks, of course, that are more American than apple pie.
The terrorist hideout was also stocked with the "finest soaps and shampoos". Do Islamic terrorists wash their beards regularly with scented soap to keep tidy for the camera, or the "41 virgins" we hear that Allah is supposed to give them after they die?
