US GAS: Futures Move Lower Amid Ample Supplies, Mild Weather

Forecasts for warmer-than-normal temperatures were...helping offset the production curtailments resulting from Tropical Storm Ida. The IEA also said Tuesday that the world was facing a gas glut following a boom in North American gas production and an economic downturn that undermined demand for the fuel.

James Chanos, the famed short seller who was among the first to foresee the collapse of Enron, recently sounded the alarm on the municipal-bond market — in the hallowed halls of the New York Historical Society, no less.
