After owning the UUP ETF  and TIP ETF  for 3 months, I am starting to believe their maybe an inverse correlation between the UUP and the TIP.  The charts look like their is a relationship over the past 3 years, but I have not done the back-test.  If it is true that the price moves will offset each other, then owning both securities will give an investor a risk free rate of return on the TIP's.

You need to own both ETF's in order to participate in the risk free yield.

I will follow up with more information when I have it.

Disclosure:  I am long both securities.
