CMS has proposed covering HCV screening for the 1945-'65 birth cohort as well as those adults considered at high risk. This should benefit HCV point of care diagnostics company OraSure. Furthermore, by leading to the identification of more people with Hepatitis C, it should follow that more prescriptions for Gilead's Sovaldi will be written.
