I invite you to join the Steady Options forum.

We are having a good month so far. The model portfolio is up 7% in May and 29% YTD (cash adjusted, with 10% allocation per trade). The ROI is 43% based on the maximum capital on risk. Maximum drawdown was just 5%. Check out the full performance.

This is a Premium Options Education forum. The focus is on non-directional strategies like earnings plays and Iron Condors. You might expect 10-15 trade ideas per month. The explanation will include why I think it is a good trade at that time, the Greeks, the risk/reward, the best time to entry/exit, price targets etc.

To get an idea about my trading style, check out my articles on Seeking Alpha - seekingalpha.com/author/kim-klaiman/articles. Within the forum, I discuss similar ideas but the discussions are much more focused and timely, including real time updates, Q&A sessions and live chat room.

Take advantage of the low promotional rate of just $49 per month with 10 days free trial. It won't last for long. No hype, no false promises, only high quality education and actionable ideas at a very reasonable price. Many members say it's the best investment they have ever made.

  • Kim,

What's the typical capital requirement for the trades within your group?

    Thanks.

  • For the earnings plays (which are the majority of the plays), one spread cost varies from 1.00 ($100) to $5-6 ($500-600) with the average around $200-300.

  • how many minimum simultaneous plays you recommend. Trying to know how much total capital would be needed

  • It depends on the intensity of the earnings season. During the first month of the earnings season (January, April etc.) when many companies report, it could be 5-6 plays. If you allocate 10% per trade, I would say that 3-4k total capital is probably the minimum. But it's really up to you.

  • Interesting. Actual performance looks good. Is 10 days long enough to get a good view about the whole process?

  • I think the main question is if this style is for you. It requires some time and effort, and not everyone is ready to do that. You will also be able to see all past posts in the forum, the questions and answers, the discussions, the educational value etc.

Many members say that educational value alone is worth the price of subscription.
