It's coming...July 24

With unemployment near 9% and businesses reeling from the recession, on July 24th minimum wage will increase 10.6% to $7.25. Wow that's timing.

Now don't get me wrong. I support having a minimum wage, but not raising it in a recession. (To be fair it was decided years ago)

Restaurants, hotels, and retailers who are just getting by are now going to have to increase their costs to go with their falling revenue. And sure enough employees will take it on the chin worse. Lay offs and reduced hours come with the territory here.
