Whilst Yahoo Reported it's Q2 performance following the close of market (Link, above) to me, it is another announcement that  is more meaningful and yet another "pointer"  in terms of that (expected) search deal announcement, with MSN........

Yahoo! and AT&T Interactive to Drive Consumers to Local Businesses Business Wire (Tue 4:30pm)

The (above) news is that AT&T Advertising Solutions sales force intends to begin selling Yahoo! display inventory later this summer. AT&T Interactive anticipates it will become available across AT&T Advertising Solutions’ nationwide footprint through a phased rollout.

<..“Our local advertisers are focused on growing their business so they look to us to help find the most comprehensive and effective ways to reach consumers,” said Matt Crowley, Chief Marketing Officer, AT&T Interactive. “Adding Yahoo!’s reach through highly targeted display advertising enhances our existing portfolio of local advertising products, allows our advertisers another way to raise their visibility and reach more online consumers. This joint effort is a natural extension of our existing relationship with Yahoo! and takes advantage of each company’s assets in the local market.”>

The agreement between AT&T Interactive and Yahoo! is the latest addition to the longstanding strategic relationship between AT&T and Yahoo!, which runs across many Yahoo! products and services, including portal and mobile services, as well as powering Yahoo! Local with advertiser content from YELLOWPAGES.COM. By tapping into AT&T’s Advertising Solutions industry-leading local ad sales force, Yahoo! extends its growing presence in the local online ad market, spanning a range of search and display advertising sales partnerships.

You only need to take a "line" through this WebVisible announcement .

It advises that (with a software that manages interactive advertising campaigns for small-to-medium-sized businesses) they (WebVisible) then partners with companies like AT&T, British Telecom, Yellow Pages Group of Canada, Earthlink, and The McClatchy Company, among others — which sell Webvisible’s advertising product to their local business customers trying to reach consumers in their geographical area.....

Note that (as a result of this "software")...It can track a consumer’s location apparently because it partners with companies that have cookies and other information that provides it with that information, including Yahoo, MSN, Ask, Local.com, Voicestar, eStara, Telmetrics, Blue Lithium, Advertising.com, ValueClick, and Looksmart.......

And (according to "ClickStream" at Alexa), they are ALL, already there!! (With Google/DoubleClick, Facebook and Bing now becoming additionals, IMHO)
