Advisers telling wealthy clients to sell before 2013

I thought this was really interesting. Is the raising of taxes on dividends and capital gains going to define the market? If it is, what's the best strategy?

    1. Short the highest dividend paying stocks, especially the weak ones?
    2. Leave the stock market completely (NYSEARCA:SPY)?
    3. Finally know when to cash in on UVXY and VXX?
    4. Short Apple and laugh all the way down? (or any company you hate)
    5. Invest in Gold (NYSEARCA:GLD)?
    6. Buy low volume growth companies, as these are the safest plays?
    7. Invest internationally, especially emerging markets as the money flow will be leaving the US for value abroad?
    8. Buy Aflac?
    9. Short Copper or Oil, Buy Gold?
    10. Buy Treasuries… or short them?
    11. Find out where the rich are hoarding their money?
    12. Buy VIX Calls until January, and then buy Puts?
    13. Buy Puts, and then sell Puts starting in January?

I wonder what strategy would be best until the New Year. Any comments are encouraged and appreciated.

  • Invested with T Calls in $KOL and $UNG. Gains from one will outweigh any losses. Also long $RSX.
