The "Chart of the Day" is Novo Nordisk A/S (NVO), which showed up on Tuesday's Barchart "All-Time High" list. NVO on Tuesday posted a new all-time high of $155.46 and closed up +0.75%. TrendSpotter has been long NVO since July 2 at $147.47. NVO reported on Monday that despite a -5.3% y/y decline in U.S. retail prescriptions in Jun across all drugs, its gross sales of its Victoza drug climbed to an all-time high of $79 million and that its Q2 sales of its Levemir drug rose +35% y/y to $302.6 million. In a company announcement released Monday, NVO said that its share repurchase program that began on May 2 would continue until Aug 7 under which it will repurchase B shares of NVO stock for an amount up to 1.8 billion Danish kroner. Novo Nordisk, with a market capitalization of 89.2 billion kroner, is a global healthcare company with 89 years of innovation and leadership in diabetes care. The company also has leading positions within hemophilia care, growth hormone therapy and hormone replacement therapy. Headquartered in Denmark, Novo Nordisk employs approximately 32,700 employees in 75 countries, and markets its products in 160 countries.

In order to get to that list, we first clicked on the Stocks menu item on the Barchart home page, then on the "All Time Highs" menu item on the left menu bar.
