I am not an eternal pessimist but certainly not a cheerleader for our current "moronic" political leadership.

I would be a little more classy about my personal opinions but my goodwill balance is overdrawn. There is really not much good to say about our economy and much is due to the fact that Unions are still behaving as if we were in the year 1912 and politicians are more concerned about posting their naked pictures on twitter. Of course I forgot to mention the IRS, whose devoted employees are spending their time browsing the internet in search for some XXX pictures.

The bottom line is, that what is currently happening is unconstitutional. Government is deciding over our heads what ought to happen with our country instead of us telling them what we want and need from our Government.

So here are my predictions:

1. USD/EUR 1.10 by the end of the year
2. Dow Jones 8,500 by the end of the year
3. Gold $2,100 by the end of the year

What needs to change:

1. Rewrite our antiquated tax code, which will result in more tax revenues and create a pro-business tax environment.
2. Incentivize small business owners to hire people by creating a pro-business environment. Remember: Risk taking is directly correlated to upside potential. If there is no upside there is no risk taking.
3. Lobbying needs to be made illegal.
4. Manufacture goods in the USA and stop importing EVERYTHING from China.
5. Create a public school system that produces a bright and standup future Citizen. Fire teachers, who cannot or do not want to perform. There is too many extraordinary teachers, who are never given a chance because they do not have seniority.
6. Stop fighting everybody's wars and start "beefing up" our National Security from within. Drones seem to have a pretty good track record without having to occupy a foreign nation and endanger our troops.
7. Adopt a health care system from another country such as Switzerland instead of reinventing the wheel.
8. Pave the damn streets in Los Angeles (this one is pure self interest).
9. Fire Mayor Villaraigosa (this one is also pure self interest)

All joking aside. We have a capable country with forward-thinking people and just because of a few politicians, we are "killing" this nation day by day.

We have the power to change the status quo but seem to fear a change that drastically improves everybody's lives. I am not talking about change that was absolutely misused in somebody's campaign in 2008, I am talking about change that truly has an impact on our lives and our children's futures.
