It is all a matter of perspective, I guess. In the US, there is much grumbling about the lack of transparency with the financial bailouts. So it is somewhat revealing to see someone from the UK longing for a system that is "as open and transparent as that in the United States". This was said as a result of the UKs refusal to release the results of their bank's "stress tests". Maybe the UK forgot to game their test so that everyone would basically pass.
