    • Verisk has a monopoly in its business, notice the 18% consistent after-tax profit margins.
    • The selling shareholders and owners are major, powerful insurance companies: .American Financial Group, American International Group, Berkshire Hathaway In, CNA Financial Corporation, Hartford Financial Services Group, The Travelers Companies
    • The shareholders are selling 47% of VRSK in order to return 100% of the IPO proceeds to themselves, to enhance their own liquidity
    • The owners have already stripped the balance sheet as much as they can (notice the price-to-tangible book value ratio of –2.6)
