As a successful Italian debt auction buys some time and a temporary respite for the EUR, we turn our attention to the CHF and the JPY as "safe-haven" flows have once again strengthened these two currencies and ponder the timing of the next intervention moves by the Swiss National Bank and the Bank of Japan, we analyze the latest trend developments with the EUR/CHF and USD/JPY currency pairs, we examine the price correction in the EUR/USD pair after yesterday's sell-off, we take a close look at the GBP following the central bank's meeting, we highlight the market's reaction to the latest news from Italy and Greece, the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Financial Stability Report, the Australian Employment Situation, the Chinese Trade Balance, the German CPI, and the Bank of England interest rate announcement, we discuss new forecasts from BNP Paribas, Mizuho Bank, UBS and Credit Suisse, and prepare for the trading session ahead.
