LOOKING FOR SHORTSELLING IDEAS?

We have four ideas today. We like put options more than short-selling, in fact, with exprieations at least 6 weeks out. Our 'ideas' are based on chart patterns -- the dreaded 'technical analysis' -- which conservative hard-money types find a bit too mystical and grainy.

Anyway, here are the ideas. I could include a fundamental analysis, and explain why these stocks have tanked. But I believe all the numbers of financial analysis are already present in the price behavior as show by the charts.

All these stocks have long-term, intermediate-term, and short-term trends that have broken down, all are short-term overbought (see M2F small, below); and all are giving a short-sell signal given by our M4 Sum Plus 21 (rev) indicator, second pane from the top.

COL, ROCKWELL COLLINS.

FLIR, FLIR SYSTEMS.

GVA, GRANITE CONSTRUCTION.

SSMI, MADRID INDEX. Looks like Spain is going lower.
