The market is still a buy.
More of the same. More buyers than sellers, although the rally has weakened and is losing its momentum. There will be no real selling until Ben Bernanke decides he has bought enough TBonds and trusts the market to regulate interest rates again. That may never be, since Ben seems to be a believer in Alan Greenspan's 'Doctrine of Irrigating Markets'....in perpetuity.
Remember: debt is sooooo good for you; savings destroy the world
TODAY'S NEW TRADES We have A LOT of new long trades today, and a few short trades. See below.
We closed two trades for very small profits. Small profits suggest the rally is losing steam -- rounding into a top. But the market still has more buyers than sellers.
We have a couple charts with today's trades. Look at M5 10 Trades below. A lot of precious metals issues are giving buy signals. Remember, the issues with (30) next to their symbols are less positive buy signals in that only their longest trend is positive; their intermediate trend is negative. Having said that, we really like Coeur D'Alene Silver/Gold Mining (predominantly) silver. It has gained over 60% is this recent PM run and looks like it's going higher.
A draft of the book Turn Out the Lights can be found at the website below. This book is a description of the metaphysical causes of the economic cycles of expansion (Day) and contraction (Night).
