    Enterprise Products Partners LP (EPD) said it plans to buy Teppco Partners LP (TPP) in a $3.3 billion deal that would form the self-proclaimed largest publicly traded energy partnership.

    Teppco has already rejected a $2.8 billion from Enterprise in April. Houston billionaire Dan Duncan is linked to both oil-and-gas pipeline companies because both (EPD) and (TPP) are owned by the same company, Enterprise GP Holdings LP (EPE), which was founded by Duncan. In fact the Federal Trade Commission already views the companies as having a common owner.
