  • EUR/USD Yearly ranges - 1979 - 2009 0 comments

    I did a brief research on the Yearly trading ranges to detect and isolate the timeline of extreme expansion and contraction of trading bands. It is could be observed that last 3 years we had extreme historical volatility which if the last 30 years could serva as any guidance will be followed by range contraction. The implication here is also that trend trading is usually characterized by low range directional movement. My conclusion is that we are in the start of a new trend move.
