  • Why It May Be Time To Buy Facebook (FB) Before May 1st, 2013 0 comments
    Apr 19, 2013 4:05 AM | about stocks: FB

If you bought Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) after reading my post awhile back: Why You Should Buy Facebook (FB) before October 23rd, you would've made a lot of money.

Now the time has come to make even more money.

I believe the share price of Facebook (FB) will soar again once they announce quarterly results after close of market in May 1st, 2013.

I own an online advertising agency and while I was creating some new ads using Facebook Power Editor recently, I discovered a delightful new development in the Broad Category targeting section: "Partner Categories".

(Check out the Full List of Facebook's New Targeting Categories provided by these partners on my Quora blog.)

This is a huge game changer for social media marketing.

No other site has such extensive, useful targeting information. Even Linkedin, which I own shares of and still believe in, should be getting nervous.

Not only will these new categories cause increased spending by existing advertisers, it will draw droves of new ones.

Since the ads shown to Facebook users will now be even more relevant to them, more of the right people will click on them.

ROI for advertisers will improve, compelling companies to spend more on Facebook ads.

If you invest in the stock market, buying shares of Facebook before May 1st could prove extremely lucrative.

If you advertise online, using these new targeting categories should significantly improve your conversion rates.

Disclosure: I am long LNKD, FB.
