  • QQQQ, IWM Not Showing Much New Strength Into Close 2 comments

Four minutes from the close, QQQQ and IWM aren't showing much new buying, their relative lack of strength on today bounce being the most noticeable thing to me, as it was in my morning post.  As expected, the very "oversold" cyclical "usual suspects," e.g. XME, XLB, SLX, etc. have had their big moves today.  EEM is slowly being walked up a penny at a time.

John, I'm seeing IWM, QQQQ, $RUT all moving up approx. the same amount today, contributing approximately equally. But the volume was absolutely pitiful as is typical for this and the other 19 up Mondays out of the past 22. I don't know why the boyz are insisting on setting this Monday pattern that even a gerbil could recognize? I mean, the mathematical probability of 20 up Mondays out of 22 being a random occurrence is zero. So anybody out there in dreamland who still refuses to accept that the system is gamed is either daft or simply in denial. For those who need convincing, take a weekend off sometime, and flip a coin until you to get 20 heads out of 22 flips. It would take you 14 million years, give or take a few months.

Clearly somebody's gaming the system for some illusory effect. That's why I make absolutely certain that I'm short every Friday night. If they don't pull off some "event" over the weekend, fine, I bail out. But one of these weekends folks.........
