  • Home-builder Stocks Keep Building The Gains 0 comments
    Mar 6, 2013 11:05 AM | about stocks: TOL

This morning, the leading home-builder stocks are continuing their winning ways. Lennar Corp (NYSE:LEN) is considered to be one of the strongest stocks in the industry group. Today, LEN stock is trading higher by 0.71 cents to $41.40 a share. Short term traders should watch for intra-day resistance around the $42.25 level. Traders should remember that this stock has rallied higher over the past week so pullbacks are possible. The daily chart of Len stock has resistance around the $44.00 level.

Some other leading home-builder stocks in the sector that are trading higher today include Toll Brothers Inc. (NYSE:TOL), KB Home (NYSE:KBH), PulteGroup Inc (NYSE:PHM), and the iShares Dow Jones US Home Construction (NYSE:ITB). This sector has been one of the best performing industry groups since October 2011. This tells us that if this sector starts to fail or stage a correction it could hurt the economy and ultimately the major stock indexes.
