This of course is a reference to the classic "Sex, Lies and Videotape" movie with its stellar cast and very insightful meditation on vanity in the age of personal video. In short "what happens when the camera is now turned on you." Having made many people a multitude of fortunes "having the camera pointed outward" now courtesy of AIG it is Goldman's turn to "have the camera turned on it." So far given its testimony before Congress it looks pretty ugly. We shall see whether Wall Street agrees that "we cannot exist so long as the Goldman name survives." Needless to say they "failed in their task to destroy AIG." This alone would be significant save for the fact that "it involved the government." A mortal sin in Wall Street parlance.

What Goldman has done or has not done is irrelevant. This type of thing in the US dates back to 1776. It will always be around and should be expected. Every generation has their goldman(s). I know of too many examples to list. Repackaged nonsense. Lets get the news cycle on the next story.
