    Stratum Metals (ASX: SXT) has been granted a trading halt by the ASX today ahead of the release on an announcement regarding a substantial acquisition.

    At the end of October the company said it was in advanced negotiations with a number of companies regarding an acquisition at a project level.

    The halt will last until the earlier of an announcement being made to the market, or the opening of trade on Friday 16th November.
