Sun Resources Increasing Oil Flow At Woodbine Oil Well

Sun Resources (ASX: SUR) is observing an increase in oil rates at its Beeler-1H Woodbine horizontal well at the Richland Oil Project in Texas as clean up continues.

The clean-up is currently being carried out on a restricted surface choke though choke sizes will be increased and artificial gas lift equipment will be installed over the coming days to facilitate the clean-up process.

An initial oil flow rate will be provided when the clean-up process is complete and oil production has stabilised.

Operator Richland Resources Corporation has also mobilised the fracture stimulation crew to the John Beeler-1H drill site and has started fraccing operations.

The 37 stage fraccing process will be undertaken along the 7,300 feet length of the lateral.

Sun has a 13.5417% working interest (10.1563% net revenue interest) in Beeler-1H and 16.67% working interest (12.5% NRI) in the other wells, including John Beeler-1H.
