Investigator Resources Appoints New Commercial Manager

Investigator Resources (ASX: IVR) has appointed experienced mining engineer Alex Thin as its commercial manager responsible for all commercial aspects of joint ventures and the Paris silver project.

Thin, who had previously worked for Investigator as a business development manager from 2007 to 2009, has extensive experience in Australia, Africa and the Pacific Rim.

He has been intimately involved in all aspects of the management of mining and exploration companies including technical evaluation, feasibility studies, company promotion, investor relations, capital raising and joint venture management.

"I welcome Alex back to our team. Alex's experience of early start up mining and exploration operations and his understanding of the needs of all stakeholders will be invaluable as we move Paris along the development curve," managing director John Anderson said.

Thin will also assist Anderson with corporate promotion and investor relations.

Investigator had last quarter resolved a drill sampling issue, by reverting to a single diamond drill rig to enable slow and careful drilling that made better core recoveries.

Further high grade intersections of silver including up to 12.1 metres at 1,766 grams per tonne of silver from 64 metres; 2.8 metres at 1,643g/t from 48.7 metres and 1.2 metres at 896g/t silver were made at the project.
