Silver Lake Resources Chairman Acquires Further Shares On Market

Silver Lake Resources (ASX: SLR) non-executive chairman Paul Chapman has acquired a further 34,000 shares in the company in on market purchases.

He paid $0.60 for each share, or a total consideration of $20,400. The purchase takes his total shareholding held indirectly to 5,099,000.

Chapman had earlier acquired 65,000 shares at an average price of $0.607462 per share in on-market trade.

Silver Lake had earlier this month declared commercial production at its Murchison Gold operations, giving it two commercial projects in Western Australia.

The company is ramping up production to 6,000 ounces per month in the September 2013 quarter from the current 5,000 ounces with the introduction of higher grade feed from underground ore driving.
