Gold One (ASX: GDO, JSE: GDO) resumed normal operations at its Cooke 1-3 Underground Operations and Randfontein Surface operations in South Africa during the past weekend starting Friday, 6 September 2013.

The company's Cooke 4 Operation has continued to operate normally.

It had on 30 August 2013 received notice from the National Union of Mineworkers and the e United Association of South Africa of industrial action planned to commence on 3 September 2013 of all employees save those who fulfilled Essential Services.

This follows the dispute declared by the two unions on 27 August 2013 at The Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration after the parties were not able to reach agreement at the Chamber of Mines of South Africa's gold sector wage negotiations.

Rand's Cooke 1-3 underground mines form a well-established gold mining operation with a significant gold and uranium mineral resource and reserve base.
