Aviva Corporation To Delist From The Botswana Stock Exchange

Aviva Corporation (ASX: AVA, BSE: AVIVA) has applied for voluntary delisting of its securities from the Botswana Stock Exchange.

The company said that with the sale of the 1.3 billion tonne Mmamantswe Coal Project to African Energy Resources (ASX: AFR), it no longer had any commercial interests in the country.

As a result, the continued listing of its shares on the Botswana Stock Exchange is no longer justified.

The company's securities will be delisted from the Botswana Stock Exchange and will no longer be traded after the close of trading on 27 September 2013.

Its shares will continue to be quoted and traded on the Australian Securities Exchange.
