Minera Gold Adds Slade Technologies As A Substantial Shareholder With A 7.24% Stake

Minera Gold (ASX: MIZ) has received a notice of initial substantial shareholder from Slade Technologies Pty Ltd ATF The Embrey Family Superfund with a 7.24% stake in the company.

This follows Slade acquiring 45,501,606 shares for $145,605, or an average of $0.032 per share, on 17 April 2014.

It now holds 79,110,696 shares in Minera.

The company had recently secured US$7 million in funding, consisting of US$5 million from SilverStream SEZC under a gold streaming agreement and A$2.1 million from a convertible loan.

This recapitalises the company and will fund all capital requirements to complete the planned expansion of the Torrecillas Gold Project in Southern Peru.

Torrecillas had a defined maiden JORC resource delivered Jan 2012 of 102,100 ounces of gold at an average grade of 16.1 grams per tonne gold.
