White Cliff Minerals (ASX:WCN) substantial shareholder Andy Igo continues to demonstrate his confidence in the company's prospects, increasing his stake in the company to 17.14% through an on market purchase.
He had on 4 August acquired 12 million shares of the company for $193,417.78, or an average of $0.016 each, bringing his total shareholding up to 77 million shares.
This continues a steady stream of share purchases that Igo has made since becoming a substantial shareholder on 5 June 2014.
The company had today identified visible gold in new trenches at the Aucu prospect, within its Chanach copper-gold project in the Kyrgyz Republic.
These results extend mineralisation identified in the first two trenches, which had returned up to 19.8 grams per tonne gold.
