Cardinal Resources' (ASX:CDV) has now extended the gold mineralised zone to 370 metres at the Namdini Project in Ghana.

Higher grade intersections include: 15.4 metres at 4.02 g/t gold; 18.1 metres at 2.87 g/t gold; and 5.5 metres at 4.4 g/t gold.

The diamond drill hole (NMDD422‐736) continues to confirm that the gold mineralisation occurs within the hydrothermally altered volcaniclastics and monzonite granitoids with relatively consistent grades throughout.

These new results clearly demonstrate the potential of the extensive gold mineralisation previously reported at the project.

Cardinal is currently drilling hole NMDD383‐724.

Cardinal's key

A big advantage for Cardinal is being the owner / operator of its own combination drill rig, while also having an established express assaying service with SGS Laboratory in Burkina Faso for drilling results.

This enables the company to continuously improve its drill plan strategy as new information becomes available.

Analysis

Cardinal has a genuine new gold discovery in Ghana, with very wide zones of mineralisation, which remain open in all directions.

The initial metallurgy on the project is very positive, with supporting infrastructure including power, water and sealed a highway nearby.

The company also has in-country management and experience, with the board having a proven track record in Ghana and West Africa.

The next key catalyst will be assays from hole NMDD383‐724, which is currently being drilled.
