    Textron looks to have some life for next year if you're willing to take a long term play. Business isn't getting any worse at Cessna. Sales at Bell Helicopter should be up with the V-22 Osprey, AH-1Z Cobra and UH-1Y Huey helicopters ramping into full production rates. With the steep drop in Cessna sales and profits, Bell is very important to Textron. Textron Systems looks to be growing as well. An improving economy would benefit all of their industrial businesses, such as Kautex and E-Z Go golf carts. All of this spells improving sales to me. I think there'll probably be some lift when they give 2010 guidance, since the steep downturn in Cessna's business is a real overhang now.
    Disclosure: I don't have any direct positions in TXT, but I own S&P 500 index funds, and Textron is in the S&P 500.
