ComputerWeekly.com published results from the latest global status report on the governance of enterprise IT (GEIT), conducted by the IT Governance Institute (ITGI), the research affiliate of the IT governance, control and security association ISACA.
"Two fifths of the world's C-level executives are not planning to adopt cloud computing. Concerns about privacy (50%), security (47%) and legacy infrastructure (35%) topped their list of reasons. Of the C-level executives surveyed, 95% consider governance of enterprise IT important."
Some may take this as a negative statement towards the growing move to Cloud Computing, but a closer look reveals a much stronger picture in that three fifths of C-level executives are planning or have already adopted cloud computing!
Revere Research reveals a growing pocket of strength within the Network Security Services sector. Taking a closer look we found several companies with strong revenue growth percentage, positive net change in cash, and Y/Y revenue growth. We believe the trend towards cloud - computing will continue with the following companies already in place to benefit.
