We had a heavy volume move lower on Friday after the INTC and JPM earnings reports. We always say that it's not the news but the reaction to the news that is imprtant. Since we had this heavy volume selloff this could be day 1 of a larger selloff. Nobody knows for sure but we are seeing some signs of this market cracking. If this is the case we will keep closing our remaining open positions that aren't acting properly and will not be initiating any new positions for another day or so.
Here is the list of stocks we closed out on Friday January 15th. We show a % gain of the full move from our entry point to illustrate the maximum percent return possible while the trade was still open. We also show the rough estimate of the percent the trade was up on the date the positions were closed.
TSTC- Close of 1/2 position with a gain of 28.7%. The stock has been up as much as 55% since our entry date..
GMCR-We closed our entire Dec 8 position up 27% and was up as much as 35%
NTES-Closed all positions in NTES. Dec 11 up 6.65% and was up as much as 15%
Dec 15 setup was up as much as 15% and the second 1/2 position got stopped out at breakeven
ACF-Close 1/2 position up 8.58%. Stock has been up as much as 15% from our entry point.
ABVT-Close with around a 6% loss.
ASEI-Close as much 7.77%
MFW-Closed with around a 5.6% loss
AONE-We closed all AONE positions.Our Dec 1 position closed with a 23% gain. Stock was up as much as 40%.
Dec 8 entry closed with a 10.8% gain and was up as much as 26.4%
ULTA-Took profits 1/2 position-Dec 1 entry profits taken up 23% and was up as much as over 30%. Our Jan 7 entry profits taken up 5.5% and has been up as much as 11.6%
UPS-Closed entire position Nov 23 entry closed up 8.2%.
WMB-Nov 24 entry closed entire position up 3.48%. Was up as much as 7.7%
BRF-Dec 21 entry. We closed entire position up 4.4%. Was up as much as 6.7%
MSTR-Jan 5 entry. Closed entire position up 6.65%
LFT-We closed all of our positions. Sept 3 entry closed up 48% and was up as much as 65.8%
Our Dec 15 position closed up 2.8% and was as high as 10.3%
ED-Oct 1 entry closed up 9.7% and was up as much as 11.8%
WDC-Closed Nov 23 entry up around 22% and was up as much as 26.6%
UIS-Closed our final piece up 6.4% and was up as much as 20%
QCOM-Our Nov 23 entry closed up 7.1% and was up as much as 8.3%
JWM-Closed 1/2 position up 5.47% and was up as much as 13.2%
Closed 1/2 of Dec 21 position up 2.66% and was up as much as 9%
SYNT-Closed out our Dec 1 setup at a loss down 8% was up as much as 2.2%
