Visa (NYSE:V) reported earnings after-hours, beating expectations by a wide margin. However, revenue was light in comparison to expectations and shares traded down about 4.59%, or $9.62.
Earnings actually rose 26% for the quarter going from $1.92 to $2.52 from one year to the next. Revenue rose 7% from the prior year, but the reported $3.16 billion figure missed expectations of $3.24 billion.
