  • Who Is United For Homeownership? 0 comments
Apr 28, 2014 11:52 AM | about stocks: FMCC, FNMA

A group called United for American Homeownership recently started running a television ad. Click here for the video of the advertisement.

    The ad states,

For over 75 years, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have been there for America, helping millions realize their dreams for homeownership. And when Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac needed help, America was there for them. Today, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac celebrate payment in full for taxpayers. Together, we've created one of the greatest comebacks in our nation's history. Let's preserve and strengthen Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac because without them, there really could be no place like home.

From the group's website, the group describes itself as follows:

United for American Homeownership (UAH) is calling on Congress to help the American economy continue its comeback - to keep America's housing market in the hands of professionals, not politicians and the big banks."

Disclosure: I am long FNMA, FMCC.
