The Economic growth is the scale of progression of an economy. This is accelerated by the consumer confidence, which has a very influential power in the increase of the AD (aggregate demand) of an economy. Unless the consumer does not find his confidence in the markets of the economy there can be reluctance in the spending and investing capabilities of the consumer. Consumer and business confidence is a strong player of the development of an economy. How can a business survive without a release of new investments in its venial infrastructure? A question that triggers the importance of the fund flows in the sectors of the economy. The financial sector of an economy provides ample platforms and products that initiate the funding of these assets. The latest product to join the bandwagon is the ETF. Exchange traded funds are gaining their popularity among the investors as they offer great Mantras in the financial markets. Fail Safe Investing is one of the Mantras. Not always true, but still associated with this product. Another mantra is the easy way of tracking a particular index without having to pay too much. So the wanted exposure is gained at the least possible cost.

Investing is a sport, where the gains are mostly tasted by the new generations. Though regular analysis pays off with the returns, and such investments are opted as the best hedging products. But we have to admit that for most of us investments are mere means to gratify the saving spree, which mostly passes on to next generations!

Momentum strategies are compiled together for targeting certain specific ETF Portfolios. At times the investor does not want a one size fit portfolio. Rather selected assets are preferred, what we call tailor made portfolios. These are accustomed as per the desired predilection.

Investors that have been relaying on the Modern Portfolio Theory alternative have switched over to the Behavioral Theory. The reason is quite simple; the behavioral patterns of the investors play a very sound role in determining the ETF models, though both the theories are deep seated with the history of the behavior of the investors and the behavior of the trends in the different sectors of the economy.

The study of the trends of emerging new markets in the global field is of great relevance. The recent studies show the market of Turkey is the hottest preference and budding economy after the 2009 recession period. The important geological situation of this economy benefits its trade. Seated in the middle of Europe and placed as the intermediary between Europe and Asia, great business opportunities prevail here. Liberalization and Social reforms are part of its agenda. The GPD growth of the economy has mirrored the positive well being of the economy, strengthening the resilience of the economy to further heights. The U.S Economy has not shown too many wonders, but still emerges as the caretaker of the global front. Its pragmatic attitude and policies still hold weight and the New Year holds a cheer factor. Other emerging markets among the investors are South Africa and Nigeria. The Nigerian Market has put on a spurt, and the consumer spending capacity, and swelling labor force is showing its colors in the industry sector. A similar emerging market showing great potential is the market of Singapore.

The 401(k) plan offered by the US Government allows the employees to settle with their interest in retirement savings contributions. This is a retirement benefit. These contributions are provided by an employer and are deducted from the employee's paycheck before inculcating taxation. The question now is why are there no ETFs in 401k? The boldest reason is that despite the number of ETFs available in the market, the HR simply has a blind eye towards these Funds. Perhaps the near future holds a place for them in these plans!
