  • APGI...Momentum Keeps Building 0 comments
    Dec 13, 2013 3:41 PM | about stocks: APGI

Note: This instablog entry is not the main, detailed analysis to which I refer in the Seeking Alpha article. To view that entry (well worth the read), scroll down to the one titled "Dual Duels in Dual Fuels: Why APGI Emerges The Natural (gas) Champion"

In today's Instablog, I provide some commentary and easy to use links to even more industry-expert, and industry-user-based articles and commentary about APGI.

WheelTime and its members, and APGI are truly experiencing and building momentum. I'm grateful to have boarded the train before it got really rolling. Information on APG and this whole field is developing rapidly, so I expect more information to come out. Moreover, I expect the bids and quotes that have gone out over the last quarters to turn into orders starting in 1Q14 and ramping up from there in a manner that would be the envy of any company. As such, I reiterate my stance that now is the time to establish a long position in APGI. It appears some attendees at CFO Chuck Coppa's presentations, perhaps some readers of my articles, and others, have tried to do so, and the share price is quite responsive to the interest. One could argue that the way APGI shares are consolidated into the hands of major holders and retail investors who are all friendly to the long-term story of this company's business plan creates a tightly-wound coil.

Here's some good snowy-weekend reading about APGI. :-)

This article discusses a new heating system for dual-fuel tractors that can run without the vehicle having to be left on idle. The article features Penn Commercial Vehicle Solutions, American Power Group and WheelTime.

    Article here:

The next article discusses how to upfit shops to handle engines that utilize natural gas. The editorial discusses 3 important components of a shop that can handle the rising need for natural gas maintenance: Safety, Training and Planning for Risks. Chris Craddock of WheelTime is featured in this article:

The next article discusses APG's dual-fuel natural gas technology, and how the non-invasive solutions can be a viable option for fleets looking to move into utilizing heavy duty natural gas powered trucks:

The final article for today discusses how GoCH4 is asking operators in the booming Bakken Shale to get in touch if they'd like to reduce their fuel costs by switching their engines from diesel to natural gas-diesel dual fuel. The firm has issued a non-binding call for submissions, asking would-be users of CNG or LNG to state their requirements by December 31. APG is mentioned by GoCH4 as a dual fuel engine converter.

I had a good conversation today about the recent uptick in natural gas prices. Look to a coming Instablog post in which I address this..but do the logic, folks...a natural gas uptick is bad for the idea of a cartage company switching to an all-natural-gas fleet....bad for Westport, for example...but it does nothing but reinforce why dual-fuel is the way to go...and we all already know who the clear leader is in dual fuel...American Power Group.

    Best to all. - Odaat
