I'm all in favor of a business model as predictable as death, but STON's free cash flow don't support the dividend. STON must be sold if currently owned. Emailed sent.......

The articles on STON leave me confused. One says to sell. Another says to stay long, that the distribution is safe. What we don't seem to have is a current statement from the company assuring us that....

Author’s reply » fin4ance, I agree on how you must feel. I read one where the article was condescending because the critic wrote stock holders/dividens vs. unit holder/distributions.

There is a clear reason why STON is selling at $23 vs. $30. I'll write an article and address some of the key issues I have. And I'll talk to management too. ;) (just kidding - if you know what I am referring to from the other writer...)

"STON must be sold." yeah that was my conclusion as well. Makes me feel good when I come to a conclusion same as you Todd. I unloaded it all on 12/02 due to its slow price erosion. got out with a bit of profit and a slew of div's.

    Author’s reply » Hi jeffreyg3,

It sounds like you did ok. Sometimes I can analyze a stock in private; discuss with people; and I have to draw the line and play it safe. I can't take chances when I (and others) have serious concerns about issues. The answers are ambiguous at best. I know how the company could come out on top - but there aren't any guarantees of that happening :)

    Thanks,

    Todd

The CEO, the insider of insiders, has been consistently purchasing shares of STON for several months now. Maybe you two know something he doesn't.
