    I am a novice and not clear about the point here. Is it that even a low dividend like 1.2% in 2012 is good if you get in early enough (in this case 18 years prior)? Was the stock bought first for its growth potential or the possibility of a dividend?

    Hi Mike, I will have further info on this name. It's a reference point for followers, dividendlab.com, of an article.

    They have only recently started paying a higher dividend.
