  • लगे रहो सुब्बारावभाई (Keep going Subbarao): Rupee Credit Default Swaps (Part 1) 0 comments
Jul 6, 2010 11:49 PM | about stocks: IFN, EPI, FNI, ICN, INR, INDY, INDZ, INDL, GS, BAC, MS, BCS, MER, NMR, JPM, C, UBS, CS, DB, HSBC, MTU, IBN, HDB, TATLY, TCL, TTM, RELFF, RS, INFY, REDF, MTE, RDY, SAY, SIFY, VSL, WIT, CTSH
Sanjay Dutt, acting as the ever popular underworld gangster Munnabhai along with trusted sidekick Circuit, first conned people as a doctor in the original Munnabhai movie and then as a practicer of Gandhism (Gandhigiri) in the sequel, Lage Raho Munnabhai. Today, investors are wondering whether Munnabhai will be reincarnating himself as a credit default swaps trader trying to outsmart Reserve Bank of India Governor Duvvuri Subbarao in the future third installment of this series. What’s worse for some skeptics is that unlike in the first two movies where Munnabhai was chasing love, a shift in his newfound priorities (from love to money) could create much greater financial concerns for all involved this time around. Audiences, however, are still expected to have the last laugh as they did in the previous movies watching all the antics of market participants play out in a series of comedic events also known as Indian politics. (Part 1)
